Jeff Darrow of John Barrett Middle School in the San Juan Unified School District is this week’s SEVA Teacher of the Week. Mr. Darrow truly went above and beyond during distance learning to ensure his media students continued creating. The Barrett broadcast “BTV” quickly went home with student producers, where host Felicia really stepped up to the plate under the guidance of Mr. Darrow. He ensured that the show would go on to help the entire school community while the students were apart. Mr. Darrow’s students credit his positive attitude and great sense of humor with helping them succeed in their class. He is always there to lend a hand, not just to his students, but the SEVA teacher community as a whole. Thank you, Mr. Darrow, for helping keep the spirit of community alive during distance learning.
