Program Idea
Taiko drummers show off their heritage to Sunrise Elementary School. Music draws both students and teachers into live performance. Learning about other cultures can be fun.
Message
Sunrise has students from many different backgrounds and learning about different cultures can be fun. It’s interesting to see a live performance rather than reading about it in a book. The clothing and chants the Taiko Drummers shared with us are different that what we see at school. It’s a great learning experience to experience all cultures in our lives.
