NUSD served more than a thousand BBQ tacos at its free Summer Meals Celebration at Natomas HIgh School on July 19, 2018, Festivities included a free farmers market, food sampling, a smoothie-making bicycle, spin-the-wheel for prizes booths, and other family friendly fun. Purpose of the big community party was to celebrate NUSD’s program of providing free meals to youth while schools are closed for the summer.

SECC’s mission is to provide quality educational resources to learners of all ages in the greater Sacramento community primarily through video and other information and communication technologies via cable systems and networks. SECC is a collaborative effort of the K-20 education community all working together toward this mission.
