NUSD Silver Anniversary
All schools, all ages, all races, all sizes — one family. … Natomas Unified came out in full force April 1, several thousand strong, to wish the district a Happy 25th Anniversary with games, face painting, rock-wall climbing, balloons, a photo booth, salsa-making contest, student performances — and a delicious lunch of flame-grilled burger or chicken sandwich. NUSD’s very first superintendent was on hand, Dr. General Davie Jr., as were members of that 1992 school board.
