Unique is a program designed specifically to give students with moderate to severe learning needs meaningful access to the general education curriculum. Students from TK through transition have one easy-to-navigate platform in which teachers deliver differentiated lessons and activities aligned with both national standards and state standards in ELA, math, science, and social studies, as well as comprehensive transition coverage. Teachers assign lessons, books and activities tailored to each student’s ability level then students log in to their Student View and work on their own. This training provides a basic overview of the program for teachers and parents who wish to better support their students academically at school and at home.
About SECC
SECC’s mission is to provide quality educational resources to learners of all ages in the greater Sacramento community primarily through video and other information and communication technologies via cable systems and networks. SECC is a collaborative effort of the K-20 education community all working together toward this mission.
