Meet Moloud Mahabad, a school community resource assistant, Farsi at San Juan Unified.
Mahabad is a refugee from Iran who settled in the Sacramento area more than five years ago. When she moved to the United States, she spoke very little English. Mahabad now serves as a community resource assistant helping Farsi-speaking students adjust into the new school setting and feel welcomed at San Juan Unified.
