When Harold met Elisa, he knew right away that there was something special about her, but they were just two teenagers trying to get through high school. Harold Kuphaldt was a senior at Bella Vista High School and Elisa Rodriguez was a sophomore. They started dating right away. When Harold graduated high school and moved away for college, the two high school sweethearts stayed in touch through letters and long distance phone calls.
