Cordova High Alum, 9/11 Hero, Hall of Fame Inductee Comes Home
Cordova High School alumni boasts many successful people, including world-class athletes and mentors. This list also includes brave and humble heroes like Ryan Yantis – Cordova High Alum, 9/11 Hero, and All-American Swimmer – who was at the Pentagon on September 11, 2001 when American Airline Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon, close to the area where Yantis was working.
Yantis decided to come out to Cordova High School and speak to the community and youth about his account of duty, perseverance, and overcoming challenges in the face of danger.
