EGUSD: District & County Teacher of the Year 2017 – George Helms
The Elk Grove Unified School District has two Teachers of the Year 2017. The second Elk Grove Teacher of the Year 2017 is George Helms. George teaches 1st grade at Arnold Adreani Elementary School.
The Sacramento County Teachers of the Year program recognizes excellence in teaching within the county’s schools. Participating districts nominate individual teachers to receive this special recognition.
George spoke at the Teachers of the Year awards recognition dinner.
