Dragon Paradise: Canine Companions

Ms. Woodman’s special education class held their annual 2017 Dragon Paradise restaurant fundraiser. The proceeds raised go to an end of the year class field trip, as well as the Canine Companions for Independence program that Oak Chan Elementary has been involved with for years. The non-profit provides highly trained service dogs to enhance the lives of people with disabilities. Oak Chan is currently the home to facility dog Pizzazz and puppy in training Henley. Students hosted, served and prepared meals for their guests.
