“Mission to Mars” tells how engineers and scientists overcame multiple adversities to design, build, test, and launch the Spirit and Opportunity rovers, two of NASA’s most storied missions.
“The Changing Face of Mars” reveals, through archival footage and interviews with key scientists and engineers, JPL’s first roles in exploring the Red Planet, from Mariner 4 through the 1976 arrival of the Viking orbiters and landers.
This episode tells the story of the Voyagers’ astounding successes and unexpected discoveries – but most of all, it’s a tale of perseverance by people and machines struggling against forces put in their way.

Cosumnes River College presents part 15 of Nutrition 300 taught by Timaree Hagenburger from the fall semester of 2014.
The Culinary Arts Management program at Cosumnes River College provides training for employment in commercial culinary service operations. Courses begin at entry-level training; advanced courses build upon skills acquired in pre-requisite courses. The program includes coursework in culinary arts, baking and pastry, food and equipment use and identification, culinary sanitation, nutrition, marketing, legal control and financial analysis. Students will apply those skills with hands-on training in production centered labs. Sanitation training is offered as an integral part of each certificate and degree, and is certified by the National Restaurant Association as well as Sacramento County Environmental Health Division.
