Target Audience: Markofer teachers, students, and Families
Program Idea: We started by wanting to keep our school families, teachers, and students informed on upcoming events. Then we started adding other types of segments. In this episode, Our kindergarten buddies went on a field trip to a pumpkin patch and we wanted to do a segment about it. One of our student won the Elk Grove Unified School District poster contest so we interviewed her. Some of our students are in the Elk Grove’s football team and they won and we wanted to interview them. We were doing a food drive for the Food Bank and we asked Vice Mayor Detrick to come and tell us how we can better help the Food Bank.
Message: We are proud of our school and what our students accomplish everyday. We want to spotlight those wonderful milestones. It gives the students something to look up to and to aspire to reach. We love that our school also helps out the community and we are a big family! We hope other schools can be like us, because Markofer is a amazing place to grow and learn.
