Green Screen & The High School Studio featuring Neil Cohen of KVIE
The SEVA Training Event season kicked off Tuesday at San Juan High School. Students and teachers were able to explore the San Juan High School broadcast studio and learn what it takes to make their daily newscast happen. San Juan High School Media Arts, TV and Photography students along with their teacher, Tom Sullivan were on hand to show off their impressive skills.
Neil Cohen from KVIE also demonstrated the ease of creating short videos with a simple production setup. Cohen stressed that storytelling is the most important aspect of video making, saying: “The best video editing program is you.” Students and teachersย were able to get hands-on experience with Neil’s camera and shooting on green screen.
