In 2011, the district and the San Juan Teachers Association recognized that our current evaluation system was not meeting the needs of their staff. Both parties embarked on a joint effort to develop a system that better supports professionals’ ability to grow throughout their entire careers.

The Civic Learning Showcase highlighted more than 50 student projects from local middle and high schoolers in Sacramento County. Sacramento County Office of Education Community Schools 2017 Graduation Ceremonies – Comcast 16
Sacramento County Office of Education programs for high-risk youth are giving teenagers more opportunities to earn their high school diplomas. A record 44 students from SCOE Community Schools received high school diplomas in 2017, partly due to a new Senior Extension Program. Graduates talk about what helped them succeed.
