Cosumnes River College presents part 14 of Nutrition 300 taught by Timaree Hagenburger from the fall semester of 2014.
The Culinary Arts Management program at Cosumnes River College provides training for employment in commercial culinary service operations. Courses begin at entry-level training; advanced courses build upon skills acquired in pre-requisite courses. The program includes coursework in culinary arts, baking and pastry, food and equipment use and identification, culinary sanitation, nutrition, marketing, legal control and financial analysis. Students will apply those skills with hands-on training in production centered labs. Sanitation training is offered as an integral part of each certificate and degree, and is certified by the National Restaurant Association as well as Sacramento County Environmental Health Division.

From the 1850s to the 1870s, Frederic Edwin Church was the leading landscape painter in America. This program traces his career from his early studies through the years when his depictions of the natural wonders of the Americas made him the nation’s most celebrated landscape painter.
Audubon documented the great variety of American birds and wrote extensively on nature and the American wilderness. Using quotations from his journals and his original drawings and engravings, this film tells the unique story of Audubon’s artistic development and his uncompromising devotion to publishing The Birds of America. Works of art are interwoven with live-motion nature photography and footage of sites prominent in Audubon’s life and work.
Cosumnes River College presents part 5 of Art History 300: Introduction to Art taught by Anni Trent from the spring semester of 2015.

This film shows the changes in his art and style over the years, focusing on the effects he achieved by experimenting with inking and printing techniques.
