Woodside K-8 celebrated fun with friends! On Oct. 25, students gathered for Friendship Friday, where student buddy pairs came together to enjoy games, socialize and connect. Woodside’s Innovative School program pairs students from different grade levels to help each other learn while having fun. Friendship Friday encourages collaboration between buddies of all ages. Parents, staff and members of the student body hosted festive activities including ring toss, bowling, arts and crafts and distributed free books for students. In alignment with the program’s pillar of Leadership and Connection, these activities bridge connections between students and the community. In working together with their buddies, students elevate each other’s success through mentorship, trust, teamwork and friendship.
