Rain sticks, bongos, and a didgeridoo. . . just a few of the instruments Carmen attempts to play at Earthshaking Music, a delightful music store in midtown Atlanta. The friendly shopkeepers give demonstrations and a bit of history on some of their lesser-known instruments. As usual, Carmen keeps us amused as she makes her way through the shop, and students from Gwin Oaks ES share book recommendations. Books featured in the program are “Zin! Zin! Zin! a Violin,” by Lloyd Moss, “Out of My Mind,” by Sharon Draper, and “The Little Engine That Could,” by Watty Piper.
