It is with great enthusiasm that Jason Gregg has recently returned to the Sacramento region’s educational community. After a brief stint outside the world of education, Jason has been brought on as Executive Director of Technology in the Natomas Unified School District. Members of the consortium are already familiar with the incredible work Jason does from his time serving as Technical Services Director with the Los Rios Community College District. His notoriety as technology wiz started in college where, while studying music, he was able to blend the creativity in music with the technical expertise required of recording and mixing. He earned the reputation of being someone you could tap for technical help. While getting a credential at CSU, Chico he worked at a local business teaching computer applications and supporting business and organizations as a system administrator. During his over 20-year career, he has focused on forging solid relationships with partners in his own organization and beyond. A true Subject Matter Expert, he is able to provide valuable insight to partners on system design, redesign, implementations, and integrations. During his time in education, he became a “Certified CTO,” and is an active supporter of the CTO Mentor program to train future CTOs in the educational community. Jason puts a high value on the importance of education, saying that he strives to “continue growing as a lifetime learner.” Join SECC in warmly welcoming Jason back to the educational community.
