PROGRAM IDEA: Our morning show was created in order to better connect students to what’s happening at school.
EDUCATIONAL MESSAGE: Our show First Things First is shown to our entire student population live every morning during first period. We work hard to deliver our informative and educational news in an entertaining format. We use our show to connect students to what is happening on campus, promote school rules and events and to showcase work that is created in video productions. We also provide an interactive connection to the show by inviting students to give us feedback on various discussion boards on School Loop which is a closed, school only, internet environment. Our new anchor and production crew positions are open to any student who wants to audition or learn the jobs. Students contribute coverage suggestions and know that their voices are heard on our School Loop discussion board. All images used in the logo/scoreboard graphics were purchased from istockphoto.
