ADULT EDUCATION PROGRAMS ON CABLE 16
SECC and the Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) partner with local school districts to provide ongoing access to the Kentucky Educational Television series GED Connections and English for All and free pdfs of the accompanying workbooks. Also shown is Putting English to Work which teaches grammar, vocabulary, comprehension and more.
In addition to these programs, the San Juan Unified School District also shows classes as part of their ongoing cable class programming.
GED Connection covers the content and format of the GED exam. Viewers learn which skills and content areas they need to strengthen for the test.

Putting English to Work teaches traditional grammar structures, vocabulary, sentence construction, comprehension and problem solving and also illustrates the skills necessary to find employment and excel in the work environment.
